Midwest Tournament MSLCAThe Thomas Worthington Boys Lacrosse Team is hosting 16 lacrosse teams for the Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association (MSLCA) Midwest Lacrosse Tournament on May 3 & 4, 2013. This is the 41st year for the Midwest Tournament, and the 2nd year that the Thomas Worthington Boys Lacrosse Team is hosting. Games begin at 4:00 PM on Friday at Thomas Worthington High School, and will continue Saturday morning at 9:00AM at Kilbourne High School. The championship match will be played at 1:30PM at Kilbourne High School. Admission and parking for all games are free.
Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports, and the Midwest is a hot bed of talent. That talent will be showcased for many college coaches attending the games, looking for their next lacrosse recruit. There will be 16 teams from Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania competing in the tournament: Archbishop Moeller, Birmingham Seaholm, Brother Rice, Detroit Country Day, Dublin Jerome, Dublin Scioto, Franklin Regional, Mt. Lebanon, Sewickley Academy, Shady Side Academy, St. Xavier, Thomas Worthington, University of Detroit Jesuit, Upper Arlington, Western Reserve Academy, Worthington Kilbourne. This is an opportunity not to be missed-great lacrosse played by great teams.
