This is Ryan's third year as a defensive coach for Thomas Worthington.  He graduated from Midwest rival Brother Rice in 2003, played defense (and took face offs) and was a 4 year letter winner and two year captain while garnering First Team All Midwest, and First Team All State honors his Junior and Senior seasons.  Ryan also was named Midwest Tournament "A Bracket" Defensive MVP (2002) and State Tournament "Class A" Defensive MVP (2003).  Also an All State football player and captain at Brother Rice, he graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 2007, where he played varsity football, and club lacrosse.  Ryan currently works at Mettler-Toledo here in Columbus.
