Brighde Dougherty Joins Force Coaching Staff
Oct. 10, 2009  Santa Barbara, CA - West Coast Force director Paul Ramsey is pleased to announce that Brighde Dougherty has joined the staff for the Force. Brighde will start her coaching with the Force U-17 team playing in the Santa Barbara Play-Day at UCSB on October 18th.
Brighde was most recently the head coach of the NCAA DIII team at Pomona-Pitzer
and has also been an assistant coach at her alma mater, William Smith College in
Geneva, New York. While a player at William Smith, Dougherty led the Herons to a
61-9 record, two league titles, three NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2001
ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship. An IWLCA/US Lacrosse All-American, she totaled
85 goals and 26 assists for 111 career points. Brighde joins UCSB coaches Ramsey and Jillian Boyd on the West Coast Force staff.
