I grew up in a Camarillo, California. My sports career began when I was 8 years old when I began playing hockey. I went on to play hockey for 12 years. My travels with hockey took me too Canada where I picked up the game of lacrosse. I played lacrosse for several years in Oak Park, California. The games of lacrosse and hockey went hand in hand. I went on to focus on hockey and won several state championships and several regional championships. At the age of 16 I began doing triathlons in order to train for hockey. My sports focus then turned to triathlons. I spent 2 years racing before I was chosen for the Olympic Development Team. I spent 2 years racing for them. After having shoulder surgery my sports career came to a halt. This was possibly the bet injury that ever happened to be because it allowed me to being my coaching career. This is my first year coaching Womens' Lacrosse with the UC Davis Club team.
