Ulices Rivas

Goalie Coach

Coach Ulices Rivas returns to the Cougars in 2023-24 as the goalie coordinator, having previously been with the Cougars for four seasons. He played four years as a goalie at Downey High School under the guidance of Head Coach Scott Witkin. A college prospect in his own right, Coach Rivas forewent college to serve in the United States Marine Corps. After serving two tours overseas in Afghanistan, Coach Rivas was honorably discharged in December of 2012.

When not coaching or studying lacrosse, he is watching hockey or football. He also enjoys playing hockey. He likes to travel and spend time with loved ones. Coach Rivas works for the Federal Aviation Administration.
