Pete Ginnegar

Head Coach

Coach Ginnegar is in his tenth season coaching the Claremont Cougars and his 31st overall as a college lacrosse coach. During those 31 years, Coach G. has been to an array of colleges ranging from Division I powerhouses to small club teams in Southern California. He has coached at Division I schools: Ohio State, Cornell, Gannon, and Mercyhurst. Along with these top D-I schools Coach Ginnegar also served stints at Division II Springfield College, as well as jobs at D-III schools: Mount Union, Lake Forest, Babson, and Mary Washington. Lastly, Coach has found new homes on the west coast while coaching at WCLL schools University of California at Santa Barbara, USC, and Loyola Marymount. His lifetime lacrosse coaching record is 258-165. Coach Ginnegar will serve as an assistant for the Israeli National Lacrosse at this years FIL world lacrosse championships in Denver, Colorado this July.

Aside from coaching, Coach Ginnegar was a three-sport varsity athlete at Queens College in New York as he participated in lacrosse, ice hockey, and soccer. During the summer, Coach G is a camp director for Warrior Lacrosse Camps and is currently the Director of Marketing for Athletic Programs with Bob McCloskey Insurance Agencies Inc. Also, he has two daughters Chloe (21) and Molly (19).
