Vaqueros Split On First Day at Santa Barbara Shootout

Santa Barbara, CA - The SBCC women's lacrosse club fell 13-4 to UCLA 'B' in their second game of the 22nd Annual Santa Barbara Shootout Sponsored by Brine.

Saturday morning at the Shootout on Storke Field at UCSB the Vaqueros beat UCSD 'B' 8-3. The afternoon opponent was UCLA 'B' and they proved to be a tougher match. The Bruins, perennial WWLL D2 play-off participants, easily took care of the young SBCC squad.

SBCC continues play at the Shootout on Sunday with games against USC 'B' and the only side from San Jose State.
