Eight SBCC Womens Lacrosse Players Find Four Year Schools

Santa Barbara, CA - Following the Spring 2023 season seven Vaqueros successfully transfered to four year schools and another lacrosse alumnae is off on her career path already after three years at SBCC in the Cosmetology Program. The Unviersity of California system proved the most ppopular. UCSB benefits the most with five new Gauchos, UC Davis gets one to be an Aggie and one will become a Triton at UCSD.

With SBCC about to start classes on August 28th and the college still accepting admission applications it's a great illustration for prospective students to see what they can do at SBCC, where they can go afterward and what they can do afterward too.

"I'm extremely proud of our eight graduates who came here, got their work done and successfully applied and are moving on," says interim head coach Paul Ramsey.  "It's the nature of a two-year school program to miss them sooner and more often than perhaps a coach at a four-year school so it's new territory for me."
