Parent Booster ClubMark Rocco has been a terrific resource for the Ole Miss Lacrosse team. Mark is beginning a Parent Booster Club for the Ole Miss Rebels. Being a club sport, the funding comes from the individual players and/or families. We do not get much funding from the school. Here is a bio on Coach Mark Rocco:
In 2004 Coach Rocco, along with his family, moved from New Jersey to Mississippi. When he got to Mississippi, there was no lacrosse program in the entire state. Him and his son Nick, started the very 1st high school and youth lacrosse programs in Mississippi. They began with 15 boys in '04. They won their very first game: Ocean Springs-4 vs Christian Brothers of NOLA-3. There are now 150 players at the youth and high school level; boys and girls. He is the Mississippi representative for US Lacrosse.
