Coach Pat Aiello hails from perhaps the biggest lacrosse hotbed in the entire country: Long Island, New York. Pat starred at attack for Massapequa High School, a perennial powerhourse in the state of New York. He was recruited to play at Division 1, Hofstra University, located in Hempstead, New York in which he played under current Duke Head Coach, John Danowski. He then attended Nassau Community College where he was a heavy contributor for the 2002 National Championship winning team. After playing at Nassau, he then transferred to Molloy College, a Division 2 school. Pat has coached at every level of lacrosse. He has volunteered as a youth coach at his hometown of Massapequa, served as an assistant coach at Adelphi College, a prominent Division 2 program, and has also returned to his alma mater where he was an assistant coach, specializing in running the team's offense at Massapequa High School, where he has instructed several Division 1 offensive players. Pat will be joining the Rebels for his first season beginning in the 2011-12 school year.
