West Coast Force In JapanTokyo, Japan - All good things must come to an end and that is the case for the West Coast Force tour of Japan for the 2012 International Friendship Games. In normal Japan Lacrosse Association fashion the JLA hosted a farewell party for the West Coast Force players on Sunday night. It was held at at Sakai Chuodori in Shinjuku. A good time was had by all and the raucous affair drove some people from the establishment. For the West Coast Force touring party it was the last chance at some Japanese food while still in Japan.

The West Coast Force were officially invited back for 2013 at the end of the farewell party. The JLA would like the Force teams to come back next June. The JLA and Japan Sports Promotions also invited West Coast Force director Paul Ramsey to come to Japan in March to run a series of lacrosse mini camps for high school players. This was a result of a clinic Ramsey directed along with some Force players at Toin Gakuen High School on Friday. The response was tremendous. May the Force be with Japan Lacrosse always.

The West Coast Force flight back to the United States departs Narita Airport on Monday afternoon but with the help of the International Date Line everyone will arrive at Los Angeles Airport (LAX) on Monday morning.
