West Coast Force Touches Down In NagoyaJun. 21, 2012 Nagoya, Japan - The West Coast Force men's and women's lacrosse teams arrived in Nagoya today after 12 hours in the air on United Airlines 891 and about an hour in the air on Japan Airlines 3087. Immediately after checking into the Toyuku Inn Nagoya Sakae the players and coaches spread out around the neigbordhood and feasted on ramen, miso soup, sushi and more in small family owned and operated establishments. The Force is in Japan for the International Friendship Games, hosted by the Japan Lacrosse Association. Friday morning starts with breakfast at the hotel and then a subway ride from the Sakae Station to the Shiyakusyo Station to see Nagoya Castle and then Osu Kannon Temple. More sightseeing around Nagoya will follow. In the afternoon the Force will split up into small groups for more flexibility on destinations. At the end of the dayy everyone will rendezvous at the hotel so the players can connect with their Japanese lacrosse family hosts for the first of two nights. Competition in the Games starts on Saturday as both teams play Tokai District Under-22 teams. Click Here For The Daily Itinerary
