Japan Trip Registration is Now Open

Santa Barbara, CA - West Coast Force U-19 and Open teams are going to Japan for the International Friendship Games. This event is run by the Japan Lacrosse Association (JLA) and travel arrangements are being made by Japan Sports Promotions (JSP). Travel dates are June 16 - 28, 2010. The Force will travel side by side with the UCSB team playing double headers in Nagoya and Tokyo. Twice during the tour both teams will play in the main game for their age division on the big stage of these friendship games as well as playing exhibition games during the week against regional teams. Sightseeing on days between games includes stops at a hot springs spa near Mt. Fuji as well as many landmarks in Nagoya and Tokyo. Accommodations include a mix of hotel nights, home-stays with Japanese lacrosse families and the Olympic Village in Tokyo.  U-19 Team candidates should be 19 or younger on or before July 1, 2010 and Open Team candidates should be older than 19 on or before July 1, 2010.

A $2,950 early registration fee includes round trip air fare from either Los Angeles (LAX) or San Francisco (SFO), ground transportation in Japan, accommodations, breakfast each day in Japan, coaching, entry fee and uniforms. The registration fee goes up to $3,450 after April 1st. A $750 non-refundable deposit secures a spot on the team. There's also a special bonus offer. Tokyo
Fee Schedule:

  • $2,950 - If the $750 non-refundable deposit is postmarked by April 1st and the balance is postmarked by April 30th.

  • $3,450 - Deposit paid after April 1st or balance paid after April 30th.
