Vikings defeat San Jose State University

Tonight the Vikings defeated the Spartans from San Jose State University, 15-3.  The Vikings charged to a fast start taking a quick 4-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.  At half, they led 8-1.    All 42 Viking players saw action in the second half as they wrapped up the victory.  Next games will be held at Sonoma State University on Saturday, September 29th, as the Vikings will take on St. Mary's College at 11:00 a.m., followed by a contest versus the host SeaWolves.  A third game will be held to extend playing time for all DVC and Sonoma State players, in what some may call a "B" game. Next home game will be against the Canadian Division I powerhouse, Simon Fraser University on Friday, 10/5 in a rare 1:00 p.m. game, as the Vikings welcome back three players who currently play for SFU:  Travis Hayes, Rolando Aldana, and Sebastian Darby.
