UCSB 'A' Team Top Seeded In Upcoming WWLL Tournament
Complete Information On The WWLL Website The UCSB 'A' Team is 11-2 overall and once beaten in league play. Their quarterfinal with the Widlcats is a rematch of a regular season game. UCSB were successful on the road at Arizona in a 19-11 win on February 11th. The Wildcats finished the regular season with a strong surge that resulted in 5 straight wins to capture WWLL South and get an automatic qualifier spot into the championships. Success against Arizona advances UCSB to the semifinals to play the winner of the UC Davis vs. Santa Clara quarterfinal. The UCSB 'B' Team is 10-3 overall and 6-2 in WWLL B Division play with both losses coming to the Cal Poly SLO 'B' side. A Gaucho win here advances them to the B Division Championship game to face the winner of the Cal Poly SLO 'B' vs. UC Davis 'B' semifinal.

San Francisco, CA - The Western Women's Lacrosse League announced seeds and pairings today for the upcoming championship tournament at UCSB April 21st - 22nd. The Gauchos 'A' Team received the #1 seed in the eight team WWLL Division One Championship. The UCSB 'B' Team has the #2 seed in the WWLL B Team Division Championsip.
