Santa Barbara Fall Brawl Schedule Released

Santa Barbara, CA - The schedule for the 3rd Annual Santa Barbara Fall Brawl is now available to the public. Eighteen teams from three states will play a total of 30 games at UCSB October 16th & 17th. The event starts off with UCSB scrimmaging the club from the University of Oregon at 6pm on Saturday on the Rob Field Turf by the RecCen. The Ducks will also take on UCLA at 7:30pm Saturday.

Sunday morning play starts with elite high school travel clubs from San Diego and Orange County facing each other on Storke Field. That's where the remainder of the tournament will be played with games 9:00am through 4:00pm on up to four fields at a time.

UCSB will split up into two teams on Sunday. The white team will open Sunday play with the University of San Diego at 11:00am. It is the first time in five years UCSB has played the improved Toreros. They were WWLL Division One play-off participants for the first time in the history of their program this past spring. USD is also on the regular season schedule for the Gauchos with a 7:00pm game in San Diego on Friday, February 11, 2011.

The rest of the UCSB white team schedule includes Tricheck Lacrosse Club at 1:00pm and UCLA Gold at 3:00pm. The games are short half games at 20 minutes per half instead of the regular 30 minutes per half. UCSB and UCLA are the only two college programs to enter two teams. UCSB Blue will face UNLV at 10:00am, UCLA Blue at Noon and SBCC at 2:00pm.
