Sierra CentkowskiSanta Barbara, CA - UCSB hosted the club from University of Oregon and held off a Duck rally to win 19-16 after leading 12-5 at halftime. The two teams played a regulation length game in advance of the Santa Barbara Fall Brawl that will be hosted by the Gauchos on Sunday. The UCSB Fall Ball Squad is enormous with 49 players on it.  Thirty-two of them suited up and played in the game versus the Ducks. Oregon had a similarly large squad on the road with 25 players making the trip. Sophomore goalie Jeni Centner (Tustin, CA) and freshman goalie Kat Frazer (San Jose, CA) played a full 30 minutes each. Stats were not recorded.

UCSB will split into two squads for their Fall Brawl and play six 40 minute scrimmages. Both the White and Blue teams open up play at 12 Noon.
