The Jacksonville Lacrosse Club has improved to 5-2 after defeating the University of Tampa Spartans 23 - 10 in a rain drenched Florida Lacrosse League contest.  Jacksonville's offense controlled the tempo early, outscoring the Spartans 9-1 in the first quarter, and 17-5 in the first half.  The Spartans showed huge heart in the second half, hanging in there with only one substitute, while the Jacksonville club had enough men to open a speakeasy under a tent on the sideline.  Goalies Ray Carnicelli and Alex Tureman backstopped the win for Jacksonville.
