The Jacksonville Lacrosse Club defeated the Orlando Landsharks 19-6 in Jacksonville's Florida Lacrosse League home opener. The Jax offense controlled the game with a diverse attack, with goals by nine players. Ray Carnicelli was solid in the goal, making 15 saves on 21 shots.

Jacksonville Scorers included Nick Williams (6g 2a), Matt Carey (3g 4a), Danny Toole (2g 1a), Jamie Chapin (2g), Ryan Davis (2g), Adrian Zapata (1g 1a), Tommy Tolmie (1g), Scott Cleary ( 1g), and Scott Cleary Jr. (1g). Defensemen Matt Rabil and Greg Chapas each posted one assist.
