Jacksonville Lacrosse Club posts 4-7 record, faces #3 Miami in Florida Lacrosse League quarterfinalsMar. 1, 2009 The Jacksonville Lacrosse Club has clinched the #6 seed in the Florida Lacrosse League playoffs with a 4-7 record. Jacksonville will face #3 Miami in the quarterfinals on Saturday March 7th at 1 pm at Sylvan Lake Park in Sanford, FL. Jacksonville earned wins over Palm Beach, Wesley Chapel and twice beat Embry Riddle. Jacksonville posted tough, close losses vs. Hogtowne, Ft Myers and Ft. Lauderdale on the season. Matt Carey lead the Jacksonville offense with 38 pts (33 g 5 a). John Jackowiac (9g 2a), Ryan Licht (5 g 6a) and Jim Applegate (3 g 5 a) round out the top scorers. Ray Carnicelli, Cory Cregg and Tyson Ehinger all earned wins on the season in goal.
