SBGLA Youth Girls Summer LAX Starts June 14th

The Santa Barbara Girls Lacrosse Association is offering a new program for U11, U13 & U15 girls in greater Santa Barbara. The SBGLA Summer LAX Series is a new summer program for girls. The SBGLA North training squad will practice and play Tuesdays & Saturdays at UCSB. The SBGLA South training squad will practice and play Wednesdays & Saturdays at Cold Spring School in Montecito. Starting week three both groups will get together for large group training and playing at the same location.

SBGLA North will be coached by Christina Ferrara. SBGLA South will be coached by Clair Lofthouse. This new concept is a way for players who don't have a regular summer team to play organized lacrosse during the summer.  The SBGLA Summer LAX Series registration fee is $145 and includes equipment loan, if needed, and the uniform along with the coaching and the practice space. It also includes a $145 discount for the SB LAX Camp youth girls day camp camp fee. Dates for that camp are July 11 - 14, 2016.

SBGLA North

• Tuesdays 4 to 5:30pm at UCSB.
• Saturdays 9:30 to 11am at UCSB (Plus combined sites starting week three).

SBGLA South

• Wednesdays 4 to 5:30pm at Cold Spring School.
• Saturdays 9:30 to 11am at Cold Spring School (Plus combined sites starting week three).

Your Fee Includes:

• Stick & goggle loan if you don't have your own.
• Reversible jersey.
• A $145 discount for the July 11th - 14th SB LAX Camp youth day camp at UCSB.
• Summer league style practices & scrimmages twice a week June 14 - August 6, 2016.

Eventually Mission Lacrosse Club will have summer travel teams for U9 through U19 girls. For now the way for girls this age to play lacrosse during the summer is with the SBGLA.
