LAX Parent's ClubLAX Parents Club
The LAX Parent’s Club is the parent’s booster club for the Kilbourne Boy’s Lacrosse Team. The Club has gained the reputation as one of the most active, organized and successful support groups at Kilbourne. The LAX Parent’s Club raises funds and supports the needs of the Varsity and JV teams. The primary fundraiser is the annual Mulch Sale, which is co-sponsored with our counterparts from Thomas Worthington High School. The success of the Mulch Sale is unquestionably the result of the hard work of the many parent volunteers. Both Worthington high schools share equally in the proceeds from the annual Mulch Sale. The LAX Parent’s Club also coordinates game day meals for players, arranges for out of town transportation and accommodations, helps pay for team clothing and uniforms, sells Kilbourne “Spirit Wear” merchandise, produces the game program, coordinates video and photography services, manages the team website, and organizes Senior Night and the year-end Banquet. In 2007, the LAX Parent’s Club established the "Man Up" Community Service Program. "Man Up" gives Kilbourne lacrosse players an opportunity to “pay forward” and help make our community a better place in which to live. All parents of all Kilbourne players at all levels are urged to join the LAX Parent’s Club. Dues are only $45.00, and it's a great way to make new friends and support our fine young athletes. Unless otherwise noted, the LAX Parent’s Club will meet at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month from November through June. Meetings last about an hour and are held in Room 209 at WKHS. All parents are welcome to attend.
