JV-A Wolves Finish Strong 2018 Season: (12-1-1)
With a nod to program depth and positive indications for the future of Kilbourne Lacrosse, the JV-A Wolves posted an outstanding season record of 12-1-1. The JV-A Wolves were characterized all year by a strong defense – only allowing opponents a total of 53 goals on the year. The Wolves D held opponents to 5 goals or less in 10 games and the defense only allowed one opponent double digit goals during the whole season – and it was in a winning effort! On offense, the Wolves proved to be just as effective, scoring 161 goals on the season in selfless, balanced and opportunistic effort. The offense scored in double digits 9 times and was only held under 5 goals once. The JV-A Wolves went 5-0 in OCC Cardinal Division play and also posted signature wins over Cincinnati Moeller and Cincinnati Mason. The Wolves lone loss was versus Upper Arlington and ended the season with a tie against a strong St. Charles JV squad who also only had one loss on the year. Thanks to coaches Cam Watson and JV Head Coach Kevin Carey for great leadership and tutoring of the JV-A Wolves. Congrats on a great season and the future looks bright for Kilbourne Lacrosse.
