John became involved in Claremont Lacrosse by helping the Club with our budgeting and fundraising efforts. A proud 1979 CMC graduate, John also serves as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps sailing coach and as the immediate past president of Claremont Heritage, the local historic preservation organization. A member of the Board of Directors and Board secretary of the Pomona Valley Chapter of the United Nations Association, John also is a past president of the Inland Empire/Orange County chapter of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic and a past president of Community Friends of International Students. The CMC Alumni Association's annual student service award is named in his honor.
