Pete Ginnegar

Head Coach

Coach Ginnegar is in his fifth season coaching the Claremont Cougars and his 26th overall as a college lacrosse coach. During those 26 years Coach G. has been to an array of colleges ranging from Division 1 powerhouses to small club teams in Southern California. He has coached at Division 1 schools: Ohio State, Cornell, Gannon, and Mercyhurst. Along with these top D-1 schools Coach Ginnegar also served stints at Divison 2 Springfield College, as well as jobs at D-3 schools: Mount Union, Lake Forest, Babson, and Mary Washington. Lastly, Coach has found new homes on the west coast while coaching at WCLL schools University of California at Santa Barbara, USC, and Loyola Marymount.

Aside from Coaching Coach Ginnegar was a three sport varsity athlete at Queens College in New York as he participated in Lacrosse, Ice Hockey, and Soccer. During the summer Coach G is a camp director for Warrior Lacrosse Camps and is currently the Director of Marketing for Athletic Programs with the company, Bob McCloskey Insurance Agencies Inc. Also, he has two daughters Chloe (16) and Molly (14).
