Tennessee vs. KentuckyApr. 5, 2013 Tennessee - 8: Kentucky - 12 The Tennessee Volunteers faced big SEC rival, the Kentucky Wildacts, for their first game coming out of spring break. This was UT's first divisional matchup since Virginia Tech in February. Three different Vols all notched two goals: Jason Springer (Brentwood, TN; Brentwood HS), Paul Dingee (Brewster, NY, Brewster HS) and Kevin O'Neil (Herndon, VA; Chantilly). Two other Vols also scored goals to pace the Tennessee offense. Despite going 5-18 on faceoffs, Taylor Szalay (Memphis, TN; Houston HS) led the team with five groundballs. Senior defenders David Ruben and Micheal Middleton (Baltimore, MD; Boy's Latin) were close behind with four gb's a piece. Three other Vols also scooped up three groundballs bringing UT's total to 27 gb's. Next on UT's schedule is another, and newcomer, divisional opponent George Washington University.
