The Vols laxers got the opportunity to reach out and give back to the community. This past Saturday, the new Roane County Knights lacrosse club hosted thier first clinic of the fall. There was a great turn out if high schoolers from across the area to learn the best sport in the world. The clinic was held at Harriman high school and roughly 30 new players got to learn the essential techniques to becoming an aspiring lacrosse player. Seven of your Vols and coach Synowiez put in two great hours of work teaching the fundamentals of the game. The kids even got to see a little exhibition of the fastest sport on two feet! The Vols kick of thier fall season tonight with a inter-squad scrimmage at Safety City field, so come out and show some support and check out some Vol's lax.
