Volunteers scrap out tough road win against the Auburn Tigers 7-5
The Volunteers pulled out a scrappy win 7-5 against the Auburn Tigers. Tennessee is now 3-0 on the season. The defense was rock solid as always, the entire defensive group brought pressure all game long while So. goalie Jordan Blazer had another dominating performance in the goal. The offense buckled down and was able to generate 5 second half goals to pull the team through. The team would like to thank alumn Kris Muir for coming out to the game and talking to the team. We had a cheering crowd of about 10 family members and Kris to cheer us on and it was nice to have some cheering fans on Auburn's field. More details to follow. The Vols return to action at 1pm cst against Eastern Michigan University hosted by Auburn.
