Great turnout to rain shortened Alumni Game
We hope that all the alumni plus those that couldn't make it will put it on their calendars for next Fall. We are entertaining tying the game in with a Fall Ball game against a real opponent, which the alums could watch, and then the Alumni game would be scheduled directly afterwards for a fun double header. If any alumni have suggestions on what we can do to make the event better please don't hesitate to let the officers and coaches know. The University of Tennessee Men's Lacrosse Club would like to give a special thank you to all the alumni and friends that made it out for the Alumni Game on Friday October 9th. The youngsters raced out to a 3-0 1st quarter lead before the alumni answered the call and made it 3-1 at the end of the 1st quarter. The action was back and forth in a driving rain storm for the 1st half of the 2nd quarter until lighting and a tornado warning forced the game to be cancelled. The score was 6-3 with the youngsters leading at that point and the alumni had a great squad put together. It was unfortunate about the weather but the entire team is appreciative for the alumni that were able to make the trip to Knoxville.
