Important information for prospective and returning players
It is hard to believe but move in day is only a couple weeks away and the first offical event is the following weekend. If your considering joining the Univ of Tennessee Men's Lacrosse Club make sure you bring your equipment with you when you move in. Orange & White Game The lacrosse team will have our official Orange & White game on Saturday night August 22nd beginning at 9 pm. We will have access to the turf beginning at 9 pm and the game will run approximately an hour and a half. We hope to be finished by 10:30-10:45 pm. It is a relaxed, fun, pickup game where all prospective players can come and meet the returners and coaches while playing. It will give interested players an opportunity to see the level of the play on the team to help new comers decide if they want to come out for the team before they have to commit to the fall dues. We hope any and all interested players will come meet the team on Saturday August 22nd. Information Meeting After the Orange & White game, the team will host a mandatory information meeting in Room 228 of the TRECS Building on Wednesday August 26th at 9PM. If you have are a new player and have a conflict with this date & time, please make sure you email us at volslax@utk.edu and let us know so we can make sure we get the information to you. We really encourage players to attend, but we understand we are not the only show in town and will work with individuals on making sure they are fully informed if they have another commitment.
