UCSB Versus Colorado State Action Live Blogged TonightMay. 6, 2011 Scottsdale, AZ - The WCLA National Championship Tournament semifinals will be live blogged by U.S. Lacrosse Director of Communications Brian Logue. Click Here for the U.S. Lacrosse There's no video stream but Logue will be providing as much of the play by play as he can type. Seventh seeded UCSB takes on 6th seeded Colorado State at 8:00pm at the Scottsdale Sports Complex. The game follows the 6:00pm semifinal matchup between 9th seeded UCLA and 4th seeded Santa Clara. That makes for three Western Women's Lacrosse League (WWLL) teams in the national semifinals, a first for any conference. The Gauchos (15-7 overall) dropped a 7-8 decision at Colorado State (17-6 overall) in a a Rocky Mountain Shootout game on April 2nd. UCSB will aim for providing fans with the 4th upset of the tournament, with 3 already having occured in the championship hunt segment of the bracket in the first two rounds of play. Top three seeds Colorado, Florida and UC Davis have already fallen.
