UCSB WLAX File PhotoSanta Barbara, CA - Beginner practices and try-outs for the 2010-11 UCSB women's lacrosse club will take place the first and second week of Fall Quarter. This is an open try-out process and while experience is certainly welcome it is not required. Beginners may play lacrosse at UCSB. The ability to commit to being on the team and incorporate this great team sport into your personal college experience is all that's required. Basketball, field hockey, soccer, softball and volleyball are among the different athletic backgrounds that help on a lacrosse field.
