UCSB Retains Top Spot in the Rankings
Baltimore, MD - UC Santa Barbara was again a unanimous choice of all 13 voters in the U.S. Lacrosse Women's Intercollegiate Associates (WDIA) Coaches Poll. It's the second straight week the Gauchos have held the #1 spot in the poll. Each member league of the WDIA has a rep who votes in the poll. UCSB is 9-0 overall and 7-0 WDIA. The Gauchos open up Western Women's Lacrosse League (WWLL) play when they host 11th ranked UCLA on Saturday in Harder Stadium at 1:00pm. The Bruins are currently in 1st place in the WWLL Central Division with a 1-0 conference record.
