UCSB Womens Lacrosse - Recruit FormUCSB Women's Lacrosse invites prospective student-athletes to show their interest in the University and the lacrosse program by filling out this recruiting form. UCSB is a member of U.S. Lacrosse Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) and has a non-scholarship lacrosse program. Applicants will be considered by UCSB Admissions based on academic merit. Lacrosse ability does not influence Admissions or Financial Aid. Lacrosse players who are focused on attending UCSB may also consider Santa Barbara City College and the SBCC Transfer Academy. SBCC is a good option for a student's first two years of college and they may play for the SBCC Lacrosse Team while they prepare themselves to transfer. More information is available on the SBCC Lacrosse website. UCSB is extremely competitive for admissions. The average freshman admitted for Fall 2013 had a 4.13 GPA and 1948 SAT I score. In 2012, 45.5% of the applicants were admitted. The average transfer had a 3.34 GPA with a minimum of 60 units completed. An SAT or ACT score is not required of transfer applicants. 51.8% of the transfer applicants were accepted.
