Ashley Antoon-Algieri enters her first year as assistant women’s lacrosse coach with the Gauchos. The former UCSB All-American attacker's primarly role is as the new head coach for the women's lacrosse club at SBCC. Antoon-Algieri graduated from UCSB in June after a storied four year career that saw her become the leading all-time scorer in program history. The San Ramon, California native was a two-time captain with the Gauchos and finished her career with 295 points from 203 goals and 92 assists. Her senior year she eclipsed the century mark with 101 points from 81 goals and 20 assists. Antoon-Algieri has been coaching with the SBLA for the last two seasons and will continue to coach youth lacrosse in Santa Barbara while guiding the SBCC program.
