AT UC SANTA BARBARA
2008: Alyssa Nelsen enters her first season in the UCSB program. One of two lefties on the UCSB 'A' Team she can player midfield or attack for the Gauchos. Played center and took the draw most of the time in high school. One of two players, along with teammate Kelsey Seitz, who head coach Paul Ramsey hopes will be a 2 goal, 4 assist or 1 goal, 2 assist type of player. Nelsen will have opportunities to do it during transition play from the midfield while Seitz can do it from the attack.

Denver East High School in Denver, Colorado...Selected First Team All-League and First Team All-City as a Senior...Also played field hockey in high school.
