AT UC SANTA BARBARA
2008: Kathleen Cardoza enters her fourth season in the UCSB program. A tall defender with good footwork and body positioning who can mark cutters as effectively as she defends on-ball. Will be the only senior dedicated to line defense with teammate Kristyn Gherardi pushing up to midfield. The team will need her to lead emotionally and vocally from the outset so a new defense unit can solidify early.
