UCSB Lacrosse Field, Harder Stadium and RecCen Fields
Most UCSB lacrosse games are played at the UCSB Lacrosse Field (aka The Pit). Select games are played in Harder Stadium and foul weather games may be played on the RecCen Field Turf. The Pit and Harder Stadium are natural grass surfaces. The RecCen field is artificial field turf (looks like grass but plastic).
Directions to the UCSB Campus Using 101 South:
- Exit on Los
Carneros (after the Storke
Road exit) and turn right.
- Drive straight
through the Hollister Avenue
intersection.
- Turn left at the next
light onto Mesa Road.
- For the RecCen Field Turf continue straight on Mesa Road through a stop sign intersection at the campus Fire Station and turn right on Ocean Road. Park in Lot 16 or Lot 18 across the street from the field. Use either the structure (Lot 18) or the open air parking (Lot 16). Use a self-pay kiosk to get your parking permit.
- For Harder Stadium and the Lacrosse Field turn right on Stadium Road at a
stop sign intersection in front of the campus Fire Station. Harder
Stadium will be on your right at the crest of a short hill. Park across the street from the stadium in Lot 30 if the game is in Harder Stadium. Use a self-pay kiosk to get your parking permit.
- For the UCSB Lacrosse Field / Pit continue past the stadium and turn left into
the next entrance for Lot 30 and look to park at the south end near the bathroom. Use a self-pay kiosk to get your parking permit.
Using 101 North:
- Exit on Ward Memorial Blvd.
(Highway 217) - UCSB Exit.
- Highway 217 ends
at the entrance to campus.
- Turn right at the
round about onto Mesa Road.
- For the RecCen Field Turf
turn left at a stop light intersection on Ocean Road. Park in Lot 16 or Lot
18 across the street from the RecCen and the turf field. Use either the structure (Lot 18)
or the open air parking (Lot 16). Use a self-pay kiosk to get your parking permit.
- For Harder Stadium and the Lacrosse Field proceed straight through the stop light intersection at Ocean Road. Turn left on Stadium Road
at a
stop sign intersection in front of the campus Fire Station. Harder

From the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA):
- Turn right
outside the terminal onto Fowler
Road.
- Use your first
left (before the overpass) to enter onto Ward Memorial Blvd / 217.
- Highway 217 ends

- Turn right at the

- For the RecCen Field Turf
turn left at a stop light intersection on Ocean Road. Park in Lot 16 or Lot
