Bruins Finish Third in WWLL Playoffs
UCLA competed against some of the best clubs in the country over the weekend at the WWLL Championship Tournament in Santa Barbara. UCLA 'A' earned a #2 seed after finishing 7-1 in league. The Bruins opened with a dominant 17-5 win over 7th seeded Chico State, followed by a tough 18-9 loss to Chapman in the Division 1 Semi-Final. They played UC Davis on Sunday for the third place title, and came out on top with the 9-8 victory. The UCLA 'B' squad also finished third in the WWLL's B Division, finishing the weekend with a 9-6 win over UC Davis 'B'.
