Fifth Ranked Bruins to Face Colorado State, Santa Clara in 2012

Lacrosse Magazine released their 2012 Preseason Rankings earlier today, where UCLA landed at #5 in the WCLA Division 1 poll. After an impressive second place finish at the 2011 WCLA National Tournament, the Bruins are slated to face 7 of the top 20 teams in 2012, including WWLL powerhouses, Santa Clara and UC Davis.

On top of a packed schedule in the west, the Bruins will fly to Denver, CO in April to play preseason #3 Colorado and take on preseason #1 Colorado State in a rematch of last year's national championship.

UCLA will be led by senior tri-captains, Isabel Angell, Morgan Oberstein, and Michelle Rice, along with WCLA All-American attacker, Allie Simpson and WCLA All-Tournament midfielder, Allie Roe.

Returning all twelve starters, five All-League players (WWLL Division 1), and WCLA All-Tournament goalie, Devon Comito, the Bruins are aiming for another successful season in 2012.
