Ten Bruins Receive Awards At WWLL Championships

This past weekend at WWLL Championships, hosted by UCLA, ten members of the Bruin family received awards from the league. Vanessa Carnes, head coach of the "B" team, was named Division 2 Coach of the Year.

Five seniors from the Bruin squad were named to the 2010 WWLL Division 1 All-League Teams: Hayley Wheeler (Attack, 1st Team), Lauren Ariniello (Attack, 1st Team), Erica Zug (Defense, 1st Team), Mary O'Reilly (Midfield, 2nd Team), and Emily Beugelmans (Goal, 2nd Team).

In addition, four Bruins from the UCLA 'B' team were named Division 2 All-League: Sam Slama (Midfield, 1st Team), Annette Pulliam (Midfield, 1st Team), Claire Harrison (Attack, 1st Team), and Katy Lunny (Defense, 2nd Team).
