Bookmark and Share Printer Friendly Nov. 14, 2010

Fall ball is almost a wrap, as UCLA played their last three scrimmages of the quarter in San Diego yesterday. The official scores were not kept at the playday, but the Bruins put up a strong showing in three 40 minute matches against UC-San Diego, San Diego Club, and University of San Diego. The Bruins were excited to see three former teammates on the San Diego Club team, Lauren Ariniello ('10), Sarah Strock ('09), and Erica Zug ('10). All three were named WDIA All-American during their 4-year careers at UCLA.

Previously, UCLA topped crosstown rival, USC, in a 17-4 win on November 3 and bested Oregon Club 10-7 in Santa Barbara on October 16. In addition, UCLA's "Gold" team was the only undefeated squad at the Santa Barbara Fall Brawl on October 17, outscoring their opponents 26-12.

The Bruins will finish out the fall with three more weeks of practice, before taking off for winter break. Winter quarter practice will resume on Tuesday, January 4. Check back for the official announcement of the "A" and "B" 2011 game schedules.
