Bruins End the Regular Season With Two Wins

The #10 Bruins finished their regular season schedule with two big wins, to create a three-way tie in the WWLL Central Division going into league championship weekend. It started with a hard fought game in San Luis Obispo, as they took on the #3 Cal Poly Mustangs. Nine different players put up points in the 14-13 victory, including 6 goals from senior captain Lauren Ariniello and a trio of assists from freshman Rebecca Trees. Senior goalkeeper Emily Beugalmans contributed 9 huge saves to the effort.

The weekend concluded with their senior day versus Pepperdine, their final Central WWLL opponent. Captain, Hayley Wheeler, came up big with 6 goals and 2 assists, to lead her team to finish the season with a 10-7 record, after taking down Pepperdine 14-10.

Congratulations to the 2010 senior class, who have all played 4 full years of amazing lacrosse at UCLA: Lauren Ariniello, Emily Beugalmans, Michelle Man, Mary O'Reilly, Hayley Wheeler, and Erica Zug.
