The Bruins are excited to have Vanessa Carnes back for her second year as "B" Team Head Coach. She led the Bruins to a first place finish in the WWLL Division 2 South and to a fourth place finish in the WWLL Division 2 Championship in 2009, with their first playoff appearance in 4 years.
Vanessa played four years of lacrosse at Chico State, during which she was awarded MVP-Defense. She graduated in 2007, majoring in journalism and public relations.
She attended Poway High School (San Diego, CA), class of 2002, where she played four years of lacrosse. She was awarded defensive MVP and Most Inspirational. Vanessa also coached Twin Peaks Middle School, and assisted at camps and clinics throughout San Diego County.
