SAN MARCOS, TX – Texas State University Sport Clubs and head men's lacrosse coach Kyle Saunders are pleased to unveil the schedule and team captains for the 2015 season. "I'm extremely excited for my first season at the helm in 2015” said Saunders. “We've put together a challenging but appropriate group of opponents that will hopefully prepare us to make another run at the Lone Star Alliance championship." The Bobcats face four teams who made it to the MCLA national tournament. Those same four teams finished ranked in the final poll of the season while State finished 17th nationally.
Texas State Lacrosse To Host San Marcos 7s Tournament - Jul 22, 2014
The players and coaches of Texas State Lacrosse cordially invite you to play in the inaugural San Marcos Sevens Lacrosse Tournament in San Marcos, Texas on August 16th and 17th. The tournament is open to all players that have finished high school and older(no high school players).
Game Length- 40 minutes- 2,17.5 minute running halves(5 minute halftime)-
The tournament will be held in San Marcos, Texas less than 1/2 a mile to I35 and just minutes from The Square.

Texas State Lacrosse Shuffles Coaching Lineup - Jun 20, 2014
San Marcos, Texas - The Texas State University men’s lacrosse program has appointed a new head coach while retaining the staff from last season’s Lone Star Alliance runner-up squad. Michael Brand, LSA coach of the year in 2013 and 2014, will remain with the program as the Associate Head Coach while former Bobcat Kyle Saunders assumes the head coaching duties.
Bobcats Handle Longhorns at Home - Apr 11, 2014
With the largest crowd possibly ever seen in San Marcos, the Bobcats hosted their heated rivals the University of Texas Longhorns in what has come to be dubbed “The best lacrosse game in Texas”. The Bobcats came out on top with a score of 12-7.
Texas State Splits Weekend With Ranked Opponents - Apr 1, 2014
This past weekend the Texas State Bobcats men's lacrosse team hosted two nationally ranked MCLA clubs in #17 SMU and #9 Chapman. Splitting the games, they raced past SMU 20-8 and held strong but ultimately fell to the perrenial power from California 7-4.
Texas State Picks Up Two Wins at Sugar Bowl Series - Mar 13, 2014
This past weekend the Texas State men's lacrosse team set out on their annual spring break trip to get in a couple out of conference games. This year the Bobcats traveled to New Orleans to play in the Allstate Sugar Bowl Series. Teams participating in this showcase included South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, Houston, Miami, and ULL.
On a crisp Saturday night under the stadium lights, the Texas State Bobcats made their mark in the history books of their quarter century year old organization by playing their first game in Bobcat Stadium and breaking a team record for goals in a game en route to a 29-4 victory over Houston.
