Bobcats Get Back To Winning Ways - Mar 3, 2015
SAN MARCOS - The Texas State Bobcats men's lacrosse teamwon their home opener against Oklahoma this weekend in the showcase game for the 2nd annual I-35 Showdown. The weather tested Bobcats were unaffected by the rain and near freezing temperatures as they controlled the game throughout, winning by a score of 14 to 5. Key contributors included Jeremy DiGiovanni who tallied 4 goals, Bucky Desadier with a hat trick, and the always loyal Bobcat fans who despite the weather came out roaring, playing a pivotal part in the Bobcat victory.
Texas State Lacrosse to Host I-35 Showdown - Feb 26, 2015
SAN MARCOS - Fifteen varsity and JV Texas High School Lacrosse League teams descend upon San Marcos this weekend for the 2nd annual I-35 Showdown. Initiated to give teams from the four regions of the THSLL, North (Dallas-Ft. Worth), Central (Austin), South (Houston) and San Antonio, an opportunity to get quality out of district games in a centralized location, the event has seen steady growth in year two.
Bobcats Fall to Aggies in Overtime - Feb 18, 2015
College Station, Texas – Valentine’s Day weekend brought together two LSA South Division rivals for the showcase game at the annual Aggieland Classic. Texas State suffered their first loss of the season against Texas A&M in an overtime thriller 11-10. Senior Captain Liam Kelly, led the way for the Bobcats with 4 goals and 1 assist.
Texas State Lacrosse Gets Off On Good Foot In The DFW - Feb 13, 2015
The Metroplex - The 2015 lacrosse season for the Texas State Bobcats got off to a great start with back to back wins over SMU and TCU by a score of 5-4 and 13-9 respectively. The trip was christened with a community service project with Bridge Lacrosse. The team got the opportunity to mentor a large group of inner city lacrosse players and give back to their beloved sport.
SAN MARCOS, TX – Texas State University Sport Clubs and head men's lacrosse coach Kyle Saunders are pleased to unveil the schedule and team captains for the 2015 season. "I'm extremely excited for my first season at the helm in 2015” said Saunders. “We've put together a challenging but appropriate group of opponents that will hopefully prepare us to make another run at the Lone Star Alliance championship." The Bobcats face four teams who made it to the MCLA national tournament. Those same four teams finished ranked in the final poll of the season while State finished 17th nationally.
Texas State Lacrosse To Host San Marcos 7s Tournament - Jul 22, 2014
The players and coaches of Texas State Lacrosse cordially invite you to play in the inaugural San Marcos Sevens Lacrosse Tournament in San Marcos, Texas on August 16th and 17th. The tournament is open to all players that have finished high school and older(no high school players).
Game Length- 40 minutes- 2,17.5 minute running halves(5 minute halftime)-
The tournament will be held in San Marcos, Texas less than 1/2 a mile to I35 and just minutes from The Square.

Texas State Lacrosse Shuffles Coaching Lineup - Jun 20, 2014
San Marcos, Texas - The Texas State University men’s lacrosse program has appointed a new head coach while retaining the staff from last season’s Lone Star Alliance runner-up squad. Michael Brand, LSA coach of the year in 2013 and 2014, will remain with the program as the Associate Head Coach while former Bobcat Kyle Saunders assumes the head coaching duties.
