Red Raiders Announce Captains for the 2011 Season

In anticipation of the upcoming 2011 season Texas Tech men's lacrosse head coach Andrew Widmer has announced that three players have been selected to serve as team captains for the 2011 season.

Senior defender Gavin Carr (Shady Oaks, TX / Coppell High School), senior midfielder Mason Hebert (Houston, TX / Memorial High School) and senior defender Justin Castle (Houston, TX / Cy-Fair) will lead a team that posted a 7-7 (3-2) record and advanced to the LSA Semi-finals last season. This will be Gavin’s second season as a team captain helping to lead the Red Raiders, while Mason and Justin will serve as captains for the first time.
