Better Know a Tech Player - Andrew BiceFeb. 5, 2010 Written by Cole Moore Our holy trinity of Tech players concludes with Andrew Bice. Andrew has had lacrosse in his life from a young age. After an older brother started playing Bice began his career as a midfielder in San Antonio at Alamo Heights. Bice spent his first year at UTSA and has since moved on to bigger and better things at Texas Tech. Primarily known as a defensive midfielder Bice has flourished in the face off and clearing game for the Red Raiders. Bice brings a unique personality to the team every time he steps onto the field for Tech. Coming into the season, Miami Bice hopes to score in consecutive games saying "If a colorblind kid (Mason Hebert) and a Gary Busey lookalike (Matt Davis) can do it. Then why can't I?". While only having club level experience the Bice Cream Man tells us he can take his older brother Greg, who is a high school all american, Ohio State all american defensemen, and (former) LA Riptide all pro player, "any day he feels like getting the wrath brought down on him". If you ever run into Bice in public be sure to mention any episode of Full House (see above), sombreros, or how he is the lesser version of his twin brother. There is an eternal struggle between Bice and teammate Gavin Carr for on field supremecy. Currently Gavin is in the lead due to his superior beard and that he prays to God before he goes to bed, a la Tim Tebow. Bice dreams one day to run an avacado farm with Mason Hebert and is "this freaking close" to making it in the music industry.
