Better Know a Tech Player - Bart Jameson

Our second installment of "Better know a Tech Player" brings senior goalie Bart Jameson into the spotlight. Bart has been in the mix for starting goalie since he came to Lubbock in the fall of 2006. After his arrival, the transition game has been an immediate impact with his quick outlets and ability to run up the ball. Bart was an academic all district wide reciever for Bellaire his senior year of high school, he's smart too ladies! His ability to run the field comes from his involvment in foobtall. Last season Bart held opponents to under 7 goals per game and had a shut out to his credit. This season he looks to man the pipes all year and take Tech into the conference playoffs for a title.

While at Bellaire, Bart "Bort" Jameson was recognized by his team for his achievements by garnering MVP honors his senior year. Bart is an exercise and sports science major; in doing so he is able to get airtime when a Tech player is hurt during a televised game. While it should be noted that being a trainer is not the same as being a football player such a point should not be made to Bart under any circumstances. Bart's top interests in his life are his dog, playing videogames, fighting with his brother(s), talking about how the reciever should have caught the last ball, wearing Polo but denouncing greek life, not shaving and watching The Office

Pregame Ritual - 5 hour energy and a Gatorade Rain (has to be green flavor)

Role Model - Matt Davis
