Raiders Edged by Texas StateFeb. 8, 2009 After falling to a six goal deficit in the first half, Texas Tech mounted a tremendous second half effort - tallying 8 goals on Texas State in the third and fourth quarters. Defensive adjustments were made as well, and the Bobcats were held to just 3 goals after halftime. Despite making key adjustments on both sides of the ball, the Red Raiders came up short, falling to Texas State by a final score of 10-9.
Texas Tech will now prepare for a showcase game matchup against conference rival, Texas A&M, on Saturday, February 14th, in College Station, TX - part of Texas A&M's annual Aggieland Classic Tournament.
