Rounding Out A Tough Year

For the first time in years, the Texas Tech Men's Lacrosse team failed to qualify for the LSA Tournament. A tough road schedule at the end of the year and some difficult requirements resulting from the forces of nature required the Red Raiders to travel to Austin, Waco, Denton, and then back to Waco in their last two weeks of play.

Despite facing unfavorable odds, the Red Raiders showed tremendous heart and effort in their last three games of the Spring 2007 schedule.

Senior Midfielder Ben Brenners commented that, "while competitively, it has been somewhat of a dissappointing season, we've seen some things from our guys that would put them above any other team in the league ... I wouldn't trade a single one of them for anything! It's been a blast!"

The team will use the Summer and Fall offseason to regroup and get to work on returning to the LSA playoffs and getting another championship under their belts.
